ANC Counts Are At 20

Finally she goes to sleep.
Ashlynn's ANC counts are falling quickly. Saturday morning she was at 70, Sunday morning she is at 20. The goal is to zero out then make our way back up. When we reach 200 we can go home for another break. From right now until then is going to be about 2 weeks. With the next 7 probably being the hardest. She has lost a little weight this round about .5 kg. Her weight was up a little bit this morning mostly due to all the I.V. fluids and the blood transfusion she received last night. Some of the bigger kids that are going through this say that the blood really helps them to feel so much better. Anyway the transfusions are for sure a lifeline at certain points of chemotherapy.
Thanks for tuning in, I will update again by 5/20/09
