Enjoying The Sun

After Ashlynn checked in to her room we had to hold her off from eating until after her MRI. After she woke up from that we went outside to enjoy the sunshine. She had a great time in her walker maneuvering in and out of the play area. When we got back up to our room they told us that the Tumor may not have completely disolved, based on the MRI there could still be something there. They cant tell if its scar tissue or cancer cells. The only way to find out is to biopsy it. They dont like to do surgeries over the weakend unless its an emergency, so we have it scheduled for next wednessday April 29th. That will be just a one day procedure and we can go home that day. She will need about a week for that biopsy wound to heal so we wont check back into the hospital until May 6th. The doctors need to know if there are any cancer cells left. If there are then the might want to choose a more aggressive kind of treetment. If its just scar tissue then we will presume with session 3.
